Flags lowered to honor sailor killed in Navy collision

Flags can be flown at half-employees on New York state authorities buildings to honor a sailor from the Hudson Valley who was killed when the united statesJohn McCain collided with an oil tanker off Singapore.

Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo says flags will fly at half-employees on Tuesday to honor Info Methods Technician 2nd Class Corey George Ingram, of Poughkeepsie, and the opposite 9 sailors killed within the Aug. 21 collision.

The crash ripped a gash within the McCain’s hull, flooding crew berths and equipment and communications rooms.

The Navy stated on Monday that divers had recovered the stays of all 10 sailors who went lacking final week.

The reason for the collision is underneath investigation.
