“The Vietnam Warfare” is coming to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Museum in Springfield.
Museum officers say the power will host a preview of the newest documentary by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick on Sept. 14. The occasion will embrace a displaying of quarter-hour of the ten-half documentary and a panel dialogue with individuals impacted by the conflict, together with a army nurse, Vietnamese refugee, and conscientious objector.
Burns has directed documentaries on such topics as baseball and jazz since rising to prominence together with his documentary, “The Civil Conflict.” The primary installment of “The Vietnam Warfare” will premiere on Sept. 17 on PBS.
