Marquette signs deal to move with Bucks into new arena


Marquette basketball is formally shifting into the Milwaukee Bucks’ new downtown area.

The Bucks and Marquette have signed a seven-yr settlement for the Golden Eagles to play their house video games on the Bucks’ new house, which is slated to open for the 2018-19 season.

Bucks president Peter Feigin was welcoming Marquette at an announcement on Tuesday on the primary concourse on the area development website.

The brand new area is true subsequent door to the Bradley Middle, which has been house to each groups for the final 29 seasons.

Golden Eagles coach Steve Wojciechowski says the brand new area has generated pleasure inside this system. Faculty president Michael Lovell says the brand new area marks a historic milestone for the Marquette group and alumni.
