Police in New Hampshire had their palms full after a pet iguana acquired unfastened and bit a bike owner.
Officers responded after the bike owner tried lassoing the roaming reptile with a leash Monday morning in Rye. Police safely caught the iguana and located its proprietor by posting on social media.
The ten-yr-previous iguana, whose identify is Mr. Jingles, was reunited with its proprietor Brenda Schultz, who tells WMUR-TV she’s grateful somebody noticed her pet after he slipped out of a gap in a window display.
The bike owner who tried corralling Mr. Jingles wasn’t critically harm.
Police say no costs can be filed towards the proprietor.
