Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson honored Monday morning the 13 veterans from the Columbus space who’ve been inducted into the Georgia Army Veterans’ Corridor of Fame since its inception. Attending the ceremony have been inductees Donald M. McKay Jr. and Carl Savory, Paul Longgrear, director of the Georgia Army Veterans’ Corridor of Fame, inductees Bob Poydasheff and Michael Dover, and Jonnie Melillo Clasen, who represented her father, the late Vincent Melillo. Sometimes as much as 15 Georgia army veterans are inducted into the corridor of fame annually.
