President Donald Trump stated Tuesday that “alt-left” protesters at a Charlottesville rally over the weekend have been partially chargeable for the violence that left one lady lifeless.
“I feel there’s blame on each side,” Trump stated at a press convention in New York. “I’ve little question about it and you have no doubt about it both.”
There was widespread protest on the rally, held on Saturday by white supremacists protesting the removing of a Accomplice monument. A type of counterprotesters was killed when a person rammed a car right into a crowd.
Trump stated the removing of Accomplice monuments to figures like Stonewell Jackson and Robert E. Lee could also be precipitating the removing of Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, as a result of these leaders owned slaves.
