I simply obtained again from a visit to Maine, which included a pilgrimage to Allagash Brewing Firm in Portland.

It was an exquisite expertise, with a free sampler flight, a fast tour, a gorgeous outside patio to benefit from the beers and a brief lesson within the cool methods they upcycle their spent grain on space farms.

Can’t get to Maine? That doesn’t mean you can’t move beyond the ubiquitous Allagash White and delve deeper into the brews, when the brewery takes part in 102.9 WMGK’s Brew Blast 2017.

One of the biggest beer events of the year, the Brew Blast takes place aboard the Battleship New Jersey on the Camden Waterfront on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 1 to 5 p.m.
